This blog is for sharing my sketches even if they aren't good. It is intended to encourage me to sketch in spite of excuses, and while facing my obstacles. This will remind me to sketch in any way that appeals to my creative impluse at the moment. I will watch my son and follow his example. He just has fun. I will give up wanting something perfect. I will sketch anyway . . .

Trapped in a Meeting
I was in a long meeting one day last week and sketched these while I listened: some imaginary flowers and a few pens from my bag.
I love your ink drawings! Your imaginary flowers are fabulous! I like to doodle now and then, and if I was stuck in a long meeting I'm sure that's what I would be doing too. They say doodling or doing an unrelated activity (to the meeting, in this case...) actually sharpens your concentration. Did you find that in your meeting? Just curious...
I like these a lot. I spent a day trapped in a meeting last week and drew the people around me until I thought I would lose my mind. I should have tried drawing pens...more meditative (or medicative?).

Seriously, I love the flower drawing and the pens. I find pens to be fun to draw for some reason.
