This blog is for sharing my sketches even if they aren't good. It is intended to encourage me to sketch in spite of excuses, and while facing my obstacles. This will remind me to sketch in any way that appeals to my creative impluse at the moment. I will watch my son and follow his example. He just has fun. I will give up wanting something perfect. I will sketch anyway . . .

Crayola and Derwent Watercolor Pencils
Just some samples here. Crayola on the left and Derwent on the right.
I'm partial to Derwent Inktense pencils, as the pencil lines just melt away. Plus, they're permanent, so if I want to do something over it, they wouldn't turn to liquid again. But, it's nice to see that Derwent watercolor pencils look very nice.

price is cheaper for crayola, and a lot more colors... am rushing out to try a big pack!
