This blog is for sharing my sketches even if they aren't good. It is intended to encourage me to sketch in spite of excuses, and while facing my obstacles. This will remind me to sketch in any way that appeals to my creative impluse at the moment. I will watch my son and follow his example. He just has fun. I will give up wanting something perfect. I will sketch anyway . . .

Trees and Fence
I penned some of this while waiting for a ride outside work. The next morning we sat at breakfast with crayons and scribbled away.
I like the way you captured the shapes that make up the trees. I've been focusing on that myself--they're not just a bunch of leaves but have 3-dimensional sections like you drew them. Nice! I also love the name of your blog!
